Aim:
To provide an up-to-date review of the current imaging guidelines and recommendations for imaging of the cervical spine and clearing the neck in patients with trauma, both conscious and unconscious
Outcomes:
- To be confident at the end of the session of how to deal with patients with probable neck injury and answer the question as to whether they are stable or unstable.
- To understand the indications and methods for imaging of the cord in patients with spinal cord injury, including DW1/DTI
- To be familiar with appropriate imaging of the pelvis in trauma
