The Medical Imaging Group aims to support the provision of high-quality radiological and imaging services. e-Locum offers remote and distributed reporting for all imaging modalities especially in PET/CT and nuclear medicine. Support is given to sites commencing a PET/CT service. Medical Imaging Audit and Accreditation provides an independent audit for medical imaging reporting; the randomised double-blind audit is carried out for all modalities, and it is immaterial whether the report was generated by a hospital department or the independent sector. Lanmark Medical Education provides mentoring and support to reporters embarking on PET/CT reporting for either the NHS or independent sector.
