Abstract Submission

Click here to submit your abstract for UKRC 2011. Instructions for submitting your abstracts can be found here.

Once again there will be a scientific stream aimed at student radiographers. When submitting your abstract, please ensure you select ‘Student Radiographer’ as your subject.

Please find further information below regarding the types of proffered presentation available to contributors:

Oral presenters
Presenters each receive a 10 minute slot which comprises of an 8 minute oral presentation and 2 minute discussion. Projection facilities are available, however overhead projection is not available. AV instructions will be sent out to you in good time prior to the meeting.

E-poster presenters
Preparing an electronic poster is different to conventional posters so it is recommended that the material is prepared well in advance and then uploaded onto the site. Leaving the uploading process too close to the deadline runs the risk of a poorly prepared poster as some work will be required during uploading to arrange the images and text. Material can be edited and deleted up to the point until you have made your submission or until the submission deadline has been reached- after this it will not be possible to edit your poster.

Poster presenters
All paper posters must be A0 size in portrait layout (841 × 1189 mm). You will require Velcro (the hooked, male side) to affix the poster to the poster board. No other methods of attachment are permitted as these can damage the boards.

Registration - deadline 6 April 2011

All presenters must register for at least one day of the Congress:
· Oral presenters must register for the day they are speaking
· Poster presenters can register for any day but the poster must be displayed in the Poster Exhibition by Monday 9am at the latest
· e-poster presenters can register for any day
PLEASE NOTE that in order to confirm you are attending UKRC to present your submission, you must register and pay by this date. If your talk is taking place in the free streams you must still pay for the conference as these streams are on a strictly first-come, first-served basis and priority will be given to full paying delegates.

All presenters must register by the Early Registration Deadline of 6 April 2011 to ensure inclusion in the Congress. If we have not received your registration by this date your abstract will be removed from the Congress and the BJR Congress Series abstract publication. Attending co-authors will need to register independently at the applicable rate if they wish to attend any part of the Congress.

Registration for UKRC 2011 opens in the Autumn.
